Just wanted to drop you a short message to welcome you to my swim coaching website.
This is place that I put 20 years + of swim coaching to good use so hope I can help you in some way. Swim coaching has been passion of mine for the past 20 years and I simply love helping people find a better way to swim. It really is the best job in the world.
Many of you will also know me as one of the first ever Swim Smooth coaches. I can honestly say it’s been one of the biggest privileges to be part of this coaching collective for over 10 years. The experiences and people I met and worked with during this period have helped me become the Coach I am today.
During the past 20 years I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with some of the best swimmers, triathletes and coaches in the world. In fact, I made it my absolute life goal to go and learn from the best.
My key focus with this business will be to provide you with world class swim video analysis and one to one tuition at our glorious outdoor heated pool in Acton, London. I also want to use it to help educate you and challenge the way you think about swimming through my blogs, social media, videos and writing.
It’s also in part a way of tackling many of the frustrations I have developed as a coach over the years when I see what swimmers are being taught. One thing is clear to me is that there is more poor coaching out there than good coaching. There is also a plethora of misinformation out there which inhibits swimmers progress rather than helping to set them free.
World class swim coaching should be available to all. I take as much enjoyment from coaching a beginner to swim better as I do a World Champion triathlete. For me it’s always been about building quality relationships with the athletes I work with. I also love to help guide swimmers as best as I can on their journey. When you can open the amazing possibilities that should be available to anyone who wants to swim better this is indeed the greatest privilege of all.
